croton mammy vs petra The Croton Collection - 3 Live Plants in 4 Inch PotsWe do not currently ship to CA AZ and HI. Grown, packaged and shipped exclusively by Wekiva Foliage. - Grown, packaged and shipped exclusively by Wekiva Foliage. Crotons require a large amount of sunlight to develop the pronounced coloring that is characteristic of this plant's foliage. In the shade or semi-shade they tend to develop a large amount of green color and consequently they should be relocated to a sunny location in order to obtain maximum foliage color.
- Speckled with golden spots, Croton Gold Dust adds a tropical touch to your home. These exotic plants have a reputation for being high-maintenance due to their tropical nature, but once established they are relatively low maintenance.
- ‘Mammy’ Croton has all of the great care-free features of standard Croton with incredible knock-your-socks-off color. As an added twist, the foliage has a quirky, corkscrew-like growth habit. A spectacular accent for indoors or use outdoors in warm weather to create huge color impact.
- The croton 'Petra' (Codiaeum variegatum 'Petra') is an evergreen shrub native to southern Asia and the western Pacific islands. It prefers hot, humid weather and grows only in U. S. Department of Agriculture zones 9b through 11.
- Place your croton where it will receive six to eight hours of bright, unfiltered sunlight each day. Provide shade from direct summer sun during the hottest part of the day.
